Like the land it protects, the Antarctic Treaty is dissolving. The world’s last unstripped
asset, Antarctica is in danger of becoming a free-for-all – oil reconnaissance teams
intent on mass extraction, adventure travellers trailing waste across the tundra,
and multi-national interests covertly vying for influence. But a new radical environmentalist
group is determined to show humanity that Antarctica cannot be plundered like the
