A virtual reading and discussion to celebrate the publication of BLAZE ISLAND, Catherine Bush's new science novel, which she completed as a FMS-HWK Fellow in 2019.

Blaze Island Virtual Launch hosted by Another Story Bookshop in Toronto and Goose Lane Editions. Celebrating Blaze Island, the new novel by Catherine Bush. Introduced by Anjula Gogia. Featuring a conversation about Blaze Island and climate fiction with interviewer Kathryn Mockler; a Blaze Island book trailer by experimental filmmaker Mike Hoolboom; "We Are Islands," a collaborative collage film by Mike Hoolboom with images by Fogo Island-based photographer and artist Paddy Barry and M'Liz Keefe; and a song from Marie Bryan of Tilting, Fogo Island, to close out the evening.
